Welcome to the Alice Ferguson Foundation's(AFF) FieldScope Page. FieldScope is a a National Geographic tool for exploring, sharing, and analyzing real-world data sets. The data available on this site is collected in from AFF's Trash Free Potomac Network, a database designed to foster connections between volunteers, organizations, businesses, and governments who are involved with solving the litter problem in the Potomac Watershed.
This interactive FieldScope page will provide a much needed visualization and analysis tool for the trash problem in the Potomac Watershed by tracking cleanup data over the years. As more data is entered into the Trash Network, the FieldScope map will easily be able to track trash trends in an area over a period of time, compare regional policies to the data, and identify trash hotspots.
All data displayed is collected by volunteer cleanup site leaders. To get involve with creating a trash free Potomac Watershed, visit trashfreepotomac.org.
